Welcome to "INK Impressions" an engaging salon exhibition that celebrates theversatility and creativity of ink as a medium in the hands of three distinct artists.

Through their unique perspectives and techniques, they showcase the diverse possibilitiesof ink artistry, spanning traditional pen drawings, linocut prints, and innovative digitalprints.

Simon Ojeaga:With intricate pen strokes, he transforms paper into a canvas of delicate details andexpressive forms. His work presents a new technique showing his penmanship whilestaying true to his iconic delicate style.

Nneka Chima: Using the linocut technique, she carves intricate designs into linoleum blocks, creating bold and textured prints. The contrast between light, shadow and bursts of colour, adds depth and character to her recent compositions exploring childhood memories.

Ukandi Atsu:Embracing the digital realm, takes on an untraditional approach to ink, with modern technology to produce vibrant and dynamic prints. Through experimentation, digital
manipulation and photography he creates captivating and thought-provoking visuals
inspired by 18th century art and masquerade culture of southern Nigeria.

"INK" invites you to explore the rich possibilities of ink across different artistic styles and
mediums. We hope you enjoy this journey into the world of ink artistry and find inspiration
in the diverse interpretations presented by these talented artists.
